The Kepma Elfin Sound System is engineered to deliver an impressive sound quality that belies the size of its 3/4 sized guitar. Utilizing advanced acoustic technologies, the system enhances the instrument's natural tonal characteristics, producing a rich and resonant sound typically expected from larger guitars.

At the heart of the Elfin Sound System is an active preamp and an undersaddle piezo element. The preamp was designed specifically for a 3/4 size guitar and captures the true tonal characteristics of the solid spruce or solid mahogany tops. The control panel is simple with 3 features: a volume wheel, a tone wheel and a phase switch.

Additionally, the strategic placement of the piezo undersaddle pickup element works in harmony with the body, bridge and bone saddle of the guitar to amplify sound without sacrificing tonal clarity. The blend of custom materials and precision craftsmanship contributes to a fuller, more balanced sound, making the Kepma Elfin an ideal choice for musicians who value portability without compromising on audio performance.

[Volume] The volume control knob allows you to adjust the overall output loudness when plugged into an amp. Set the Volume rotary as high as possible without causing distortion.

[Tone] Tone control knob. When the knob is centered, it corresponds to the default system tone. Turning the knob clockwise enhances the depth and clarity of the sound, making it brighter and particularly suitable for vigorous strumming. Turning the TONE knob counterclockwise, bass and treble are enhanced at the same time, resulting in a warmer, and more powerful tone perfect for singing and playing.

[Phase] The phase switch inverts the pickup's sound wave phase by 180 degrees, preventing volume reduction and tone changes caused by out-of-phase pickups. Selecting the appropriate phase can achieve unique sound effects in different performance environments and amplifiers, and effectively reduce feedback noise from the amplifier. Go ahead and experiment with the phase switch to get your best possible sound.

[Indicator] A multi-function indicator with different light colors. The Indicator turns green when the system is fully charged and properly working. The indicator turns red when the battery is low and needs charging. When charging, the Indicator light turns yellow and will turn green when the battery has been fully charged.

[USB port] This is how you charge the battery in system when the battery is low. Connect the included USB-C cable to this port and the other end to a regular phone charger and charge it.
